Delete a Post, Topic, or Forum

How do I delete a single forum post?

  1. In the Forums tool, click a topic title.

    Choose a topic within a forum

  2. Select the conversation that contains the post.

    Select a conversation from the list

  3. Click the Delete button on the post you want to remove.

    Click delete button.

  4. On the confirmation page, click Delete to permanently erase the post.

    Warning: Deleting forums, topics and posts cannot be undone.

    Click delete on the confirmation page.

How do I delete a topic?

  1. In the Forums tool, select Topic Options beside the desired topic you want to delete.

  2. From the drop-down menu, select Delete Topic.

    Select Delete Topic from the drop-down menu.

  3. Confirm you are deleting the correct topic.

    Warning: Deleting forums, topics and posts cannot be undone.

    You can also delete the topic from the Topic page. When viewing the topic, select the Delete Topic tab at the top of the screen.

How do I delete a forum?

  1. In the Forums tool, select Forum Options beside the desired forum.

    Select Forum Options on the desired forum.

  2. From the drop-down menu, select Delete Forum.

    Select Delete Forum.

  3. You can also delete a forum within the forum settings. To do this, click Forum Settings from the Forum Options drop-down menu.

    Click Forum Settings.

  4. At the bottom of the settings page, click Delete Forum.

    Click Delete Forum.

  5. On the confirmation page, click Delete Forum to permanently erase the forum and everything associated with it, including all topics and conversations.

    Warning: Deleting forums, topics and posts cannot be undone.

    Confirm deletion.
